Not Just a Story, But A Movement

Founded in January 2015, SHIFA Welfare Association (SHIFA) is a youth-based, women-led, non-profit organization registered under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies Ordinance 1961 (Registration No. DO/SW/JCD/VA-259 in Sindh) and with the Baluchistan Charity Commission Authority (BCRA-116499) as well as the PDMA Baluchistan (RC/DG/PDMA/Plan/NGO/2022/305).

SHIFA was established by a group of passionate youth, social leaders, and peace builders who shared a common vision of creating positive change within their communities. Since its inception, SHIFA has remained committed to improving the lives of the most vulnerable especially women, children, older people, and marginalized groups by sustainable development.

Our Vision and Mission:

• VISION: SHIFA envisions a just, equitable, and prosperous society where every individual—especially the most vulnerable—has access to health, education, livelihoods, gender equality, climate resilience, and social justice, fully aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030.
• MISSION: Our mission is to empower marginalized communities through sustainable, community-driven interventions that improve health and nutrition, expand educational access, promote gender equality, strengthen water governance, enhance food and livelihood security, build climate resilience, and advance peace, justice, and strong institutions.
