About SHIFA Welfare Association (SHIFA): Founded in January 2015 under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies Ordinance 1961,registration Number DO/SW/JCD/VA-259 SHIFA Welfare Association (SHIFA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of the most vulnerable in the local community of District Jacobabad, Sindh. SHIFA was established by a group of passionate young lawyers, social leaders, and peace builders who shared a common vision of bringing about positive change in their community.
Our Vision and Mission:
Vision: SHIFA's vision is closely aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We aspire to create a demand for the implementation of the SDGs and actively engage in lobbying and advocacy to encourage decision-makers to take actions that ensure the proper implementation of these goals.
Mission:
Our mission centers on the SDGs for 2030, with a specific focus on various
critical SDGs, including poverty alleviation, health and well-being, quality
education, gender equality, water governance, FSL, Nutrition, climate action, Women
and Youth Economic Growth, and peace and Justice.
By actively working toward these objectives. SHIFA strives to create a more
just, equitable, and prosperous future for the communities we serve.
Small changes with a big difference:
SHIFA contributed towards increasing acceptance of diverse backgrounds in targeted communities thereby reducing ideological support for VE groups, SHIFA engage communities in Jacobabad to create awareness of diversity and encourage interaction between different groups in order to create tolerance & Acceptance at community Level through Walls Painting.

senior level assignments in Project Management / Advocacy Campaigning and Lobbying / Community Mobilization, Services with right based approach / Communication & Coordination with a well reputed organisation, preferably in the Social Services Sector (Education, Child Protection, Advocacy, Reproductive Health and Sustainable Livelihood Environment, Human Rights, Disaster Risk Reduction & ETC or a NGO/INGO.
