COVID-19 Relief program which was supported by the PAK Army and facilitated by the SHIFA Team, this program actually aimed to help those vulnerable communities in this era of COVID-19 Vulnerable populations include transgender community, persons with disability, Widows, special Children (Deaf& Dumb) the economically disadvantaged, racial and ethnic minorities, the uninsured, the elderly, the homeless. Big quantity of different type of supporting items were distributed such as sewing machine, Eid clothes, Cash grants, Portable water tanks, mask, sanitizers, & wheel chairs etc. this COVID-19 Relief Program promoted physiological changes and the brain of the communities linked with happiness SHIFA Distributed 30 wheel chairs among the disable people was held here in Jacobabad.30 Wheelchairs were distributed amongst the Most vulnerable communities in which there were 20 Male and 10 females, as It is appraised that many children, teens and adults worldwide need a wheelchair but cannot afford one. The wheelchair is one of the most commonly used assistive devices to promote mobility and enhance quality of life for people who have difficulties in walking (a person with spinal cord injuries resulting in quadriplegia or paraplegia, muscular etc.). Wheelchair mobility opens up opportunities for wheelchair users to study, work, and engage in social activities and access services such as healthcare. In addition to providing mobility, an appropriate wheelchair benefits the physical health and quality of life of the users by helping in reducing common problems such as pressure sores.

  • Moreover 12 sewing Machines were distributed amongst the widows, Portable water tanks were fitted at 10 different places of Jacobabad few were at temple (Mandir), Few at Mosques (masjids), few at churches, and few at imambargah. Water is the single most important resource on our planet, and it's crucial that drinking water be kept safe and secure.
  • In addition, EID clothes were distributed about 85 beneficiaries, there were 30 from transgender community, 30 from person with disabilities and 25 special children which included deaf and dumb children. Furthermore 1000 masks and 1000 sanitizers were distributed among the community. Cash was also distributed, per person was giving 5 thousand, meanwhile 30 Disable and 30 transgender were provided with the Cash grant.

  • COVID-19 Relief program really supported the local communities' essential during these challenging times. All the vulnerable community, including persons with disabilities, transgender and special children were very happy after receiving such presents.
